The cutest spot to grab a coffee and a delicious pastry right on the river. The ambiance is absolutely perfect. There's outdoor seating, but not too many tables and a few indoors as well. It is located within the House on the River. They have quite a decent selection of pastries, but they are pricey compared to other cafes in the Fort Lauderdale area. I really enjoyed my pistachio croissant. It was huge and had plenty of pistachio cream. I'd highly recommend it. They definitely had some unique croissant flavors. The coffee flavoring selection was very limited, but the coffee was tasty. It is worth checking this spot out, but it does get crowded. I happened to go during jazz brunch and was able to snag a table after about waiting 10 minutes. It was the perfect spot to listen to music while enjoying coffee and pastries.

The historic house is in a beautiful location on the river, although it is not easy to get to unless you find metered parking on the street. The exterior is decorated nicely and the interior is rather plain. I arrived very late in the day for an afternoon snack, so I imagine that's why pickings for pastries were slim, but I only wanted a chocolate croissant anyway. The employee behind the counter was nice enough, handed me my croissant, and I was on my merry way back to my office. This was an epic chocolate croissant. Not too think, perfectly crunchy on the outside and gooey chocolate on the inside. You can tell it was made from very high quality ingredients. I will return another time when I need to bring breakfast to the office.

I've been back 3 days in a row. It wasn't until today that I learned a pro tip. If you don't want to shell out $9.95 for a massive croissant just to see if you like it, they have 3 mini croissants that are under $3. I got a plain, chocolate, and the almond. They are exactly what a croissant should taste like. I also purchased the Lime Croissant which tastes and look more like a Lemon Croissant. It doesn't matter. It's light, refreshing, and has that zesty zing. Service is so friendly. After 3 visits, it's like Cheers...they knew my name! The setting is beautiful. My hope is that this secret gets let out of the bag because there is ample space to park your butt and enjoy breakfast while admiring the yachts pass on by.

We yelped ourselves to this cute cafe by the river and were very pleased when we arrived. We sat outside to enjoy the nice weather...the view was excellent and service was quick. Being a fan of croissants, i was intrigued by the croissant sandwiches. I order the one with salmon and eggs...so good. It came with a quite tasty greens side salad - i wasn't in the mood for salad but i ended up eating it all. Everything we ordered was delicious. Note to self..don't order a cuban coffee at a french cafe lol I probably won't order a cortadito here again, but the macchiato was on point. They served these tiny donut type pastries with each of the coffees that were delicious. The waitress brought my friend extras since she loved them so much. Overall a wonderful experience. I highly recommend.

My husband and I had brunch on 11/5/2023. It was our first time going there. The manager came over to our table, introduced himself and proceeded to tell us about the history of "The House." He was very friendly and nice. My husband ordered the French Toast Mixed Berries with scrambled eggs and I the Croissant sandwich. We ate the entire thing. (I helped my husband with his since he's not a big eater ). The best brunch we've ever had. The service and ambiance were amazing! We will definitely be going back to try other items on the menu.

Here with friends for my birthday lunch. It was empty and we had a wonderful time! Absolutely memorable thanks to the owner's hospitality and generosity, it was a memorable experience that we would never forget! Easy to miss if you don't know its here. Not sure how to explain except to say its a Cafe by day until 2pm and open for dining experience starting at 4pm. We loved it so much we joked staying till dinner. Ambiance - the Cafe section is bright, inviting, impeccable clean. All other areas in the house are beautifully decorated, each room different from the next, perfect for group or romantic dining. Some of the rooms have swings:) Back to our cafe experience.. I recommend placing your order first and taking a self-tour of the house. We marveled at each room. There's two floors and it'll be an adventure discovering them. Looking forward to coming back for dinner and weekend brunch. I hear it gets packed so plan accordingly. I absolutely recommend visiting The House during the day first to plan your next night/intimate event with friends, for brunch or birthday.

Stopped in for a quick latte and pastry while on my typical morning walk through las olas and this place did not disappoint. It was very early so they were empty but the other days I have passed by they have had plenty patrons. I asked for a regular iced latte and a pistachio croissant, delicious! The iced latte had no additional flavoring, which is not typical of me to order, and it was still so good! The pastry was fresh and sat among other pastries that looked equally delicious, will definitely be back to try the others.

WOW! RUN HERE! The customer service is insane. Alvaro and Jorge are amazing. We went for brunch and had issues with street closures and Alvaro helped us out with parking when we called. Jorge was a waiter and had great recommendations and customer service. My cousin has a disability and needed some extra help with seating and they were extremely helpful. The food selection is small but the pastries selection is huge. Sadly, the French toast was sold out when we got there. I was very excited about trying it. I had the croque madame, my cousins had the grilled chicken crossiant sandwich, and my sister had the egg sandwich. Everything was delicious. We also tried the Nutella crossiant and the pistachio crossiant. Delicious. The chef also made each of us rum cakes and they did not disappoint. RUN TO THIS PLACE! It is super cute and right on the River.
